Keith Scharlach was born March 2, 1980, and lived his first 18 years in South Jersey.  He began playing guitar at age 7.  In 1998, he graduated from St. Joseph's High School in Hammonton, NJ.  After High School, he continued to a Bachelors Degree at Alvernia University in Reading, Pa, graduating in 2002.  

Mr. Nice Guy's first public performance was acoustic, in between sets of a band know as "Oddysea" (currently Flux Capacitor) at a dormatory at Alvernia University.  Soon after, he formed a band and played a back yard party.  Over the next 15 years, he peformed as a solo act and in bands all over the tri-state area.  Keith is primarily and Origional Artist, but he also covers music from a wide virety of musical genre's and decades, in a style of music is somewhere between reggae, classic/alternative rock and hip-hop blues.

Mr. Nice Guy performed at the Pagoda in Reading, Pa, on three seperate occasions, and was the first musician asked to perfrom at the Sunset at the Pagoda shows, as well as the first musician in Reading to play any shows at the Pagoda. Mr. Nice Guy has also been a repeat DID MidDay Cafe performer over the years.

In August 2016, Keith Scharlach will be inducted into the Berks County Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at the Magical History Tour at the Evegreen German Club in Fleetwood.

Keith is also on the Board of Directors for Berks A Palooza, and has performed at Winterfest 2016 and will perform in June at Temple Fire Company on the first day of Berks A Palooza Summer Jam.
